Client Accounting Specialist
What we'll like about you:
- Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks®/QuickBooks Online
- Dedicated to excellent client service and providing a rich, frictionless client experience
- Ability to learn and implement new technology
- At least 2 years of experience in an environment with client contact providing accounting and tax services
- A Bachelors degree in accounting is essential
- CPA designation or actively pursuing a CPA license is required
- Proficiency with Thomson Reuters suite (UltraTax CS, Practice CS, GoFile Room) is a plus
What you’ll be doing:
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Accepting bank feeds, entering journal entries, reconciling accounts
- Updating tax preparation information
- Preparing various tax returns
- Assisting with tax planning
- Communicating and meeting with clients
- Assist in forensic accounting and business valuation matters

- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the client and management
- Ability to work with clients and co-workers
